We all love assistance, but some are not using it on a regular basis, you can remove it from the Touch Bar.A new study by Creative Strategies’ Carolina Milanesi shows that these assistants are having trouble becoming a habit for the average user. 70% of iPhone users say they use Siri only sometimes or rarely, but nearly everyone’s tried it. Only 2% of American iPhone owners have never used Siri, according to the study.
In recent STUDY we found that the most widely used in the US where Apple’s Siri (34%), Google Assistant (19%), Amazon Alexa (6%), and Microsoft Cortana (4%)
all assistance uses voice queries and a natural language to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of Internet services. The software adapts to users’ individual language usages, searches, and preferences, with continuing use. Returned results are individualized.
Siri supports a wide range of user commands, including performing phone actions, checking basic information, scheduling events and reminders, handling device settings, searching the Internet, navigating areas, finding information on entertainment, and is able to engage with iOS-integrated apps.
With the release of iOS 10 in 2016, Apple opened up limited third-party access to Siri, including third-party messaging apps, as well as payments, ride-sharing, and Internet calling apps. With the upcoming release of iOS 11, Apple will update Siri’s voices for more clear, human voices, will support follow-up questions and language translation, and additional third-party actions.
so, we can say easily that SIRI is one of the best AI based assistance.
Here, are two simple methods to removing it:
1: By Removing It From System Tray:
Guys, I know you already familiar with removing icons from the system tray all you have to do is click on the icon of Siri and drag it away until you see “REMOVE” label. when you do, simply release your click and the icon will disappear instantly. If you can still access Siri with a keyboard shortcut, if you set one up, or from the menu bar icon additionally, you can easily put the Siri back on your system tray by dragging the app icon from your application folder back into the system tray.
2: Removing Siri From MenuBar:
the next one is removing Siri from the menu bar
-Go to the Apple menu and choose ‘system preferences’ and then go to ‘keyboard’
-under keyboard tab, choose ‘customize control strip’
-Now tap on the Siri button and drag it to the Trash on the touch bar, or use the mouse to drag the Siri icon onto the screen and out of the Touch Bar to remove it
Drag Siri to trash to remove Touch Bar Siri
-Choose “Done” when finished and close out of System Preferences
wait let me tell you this only removes Touch Bar button from the keyboard, you will still be able to access Siri from the menu bar on the Mac, or a keyboard shortcut, but it will no longer be on the touch bar hovering above the delete key on Touch Bar Pro models.
we can customize other options in the Touch Bar and Control Strip through settings on the Macs equipped with the function key replacement screen.
